God can use your gifts and skills to make a difference in the lives of others at Pearlside Church. Serving is a great way to develop relationships while creating an environment for people to experience Jesus. There are several opportunities to express your heart for God by serving people.

Pearlside Ministries & Serve Teams:

  • Service Operations Ministry
    The Service Operations Ministry is made up of many teams that focus on the overall operations of a church service. The Operations Teams are responsible for ensuring the church services are operationally strong. The team coordinates all church operations activities from scheduling to weekend service preparation to logistics.

    • Greeter Team
      Make people feel at home by welcoming guests at the door with a smile and handing out message notes for weekend services.

    • Usher Team
      Prepare people for a positive worship experience by welcoming and assisting them to a seat, facilitating the offering, and maintaining a distraction-free environment.

    • Hospitality Team
      Create a warm and welcoming atmosphere at our weekend services by preparing and serving refreshments.

    • Medical Response Team
      Our team of health care professionals serves by providing basic medical care in the event of an accident or emergency. (Requirements: Medical certification)

    • Parking Team*
      Be the first touch for our guests and members as they arrive to worship together.

    • Shuttle Team*
      Welcome and safely transport congregants to and from our parking areas and our main campus to ensure they are able to come together to worship and receive the Word.

    • Safety Team
      Provide a sense of safety and assurance to our members and guests at our weekend services.

    • First Responders (MERT)
      This team of healthcare providers gives basic medical attention to our guests in the event of an accident or emergency.

    • Setup/Breakdown
      Work with their gifts and talents to help prepare for the worship experience at our services by setting up and breaking down.


  • Production Team - (Multimedia/Lighting/Sound/Video)
    Use creativity and technology to deliver the Word and worship through sound engineering, cameras, lighting, and other visual elements.


  • KIDS Team
    Create an environment in our KIDS Services where children and their families are exposed to biblical foundations and the real love of Jesus. (Requirements: Background Check)

  • Next Generation Team
    Help the next generation know God, follow God, discover their purpose, and make a difference in the world through relational discipleship, small groups, and services.

  • Worship Team (Instrumentalist/Vocalist)
    Prepare the way for our guests to encounter the presence of God through vocals and instruments.


  • Community Outreach Team*
    Provide the resources for the challenges within our communities through food distributions, after-school enrichment, and our homeless ministries. In doing so, we connect with families and younger generations with hope and care.


  • Communications Team
    Communicate the church’s values and upcoming events through the use of technology, print production, and social media.

  • Education Team*
    Establish an atmosphere for our classes to develop strong Biblical foundations as people encounter Jesus in their discipleship journey.


  • Life Matters Team*
    Provide people with tools to have strong marriages, parenting, families, and finances in our Workshops. Our Celebrate Recovery program helps people deal with life’s hurts, hang-ups, and habits.


  • Resource Team*
    Serve and support the church with various projects such as preparing bulletins, assembling gifts for the community (i.e.schools, special events, homeless ministry, food distribution), and preparing crafts for KIDS church so that others can experience God in a tangible way.


  • Prayer Team
    Weekly prayer pockets are available for those who attend Pearlside to receive prayer and intercede to advance God’s Kingdom into all the world.


  • Administration Team
    Provide overall administrative support for the Church. Duties can include answering phone calls, emails, and office clerical work.
