OUR MISSION: For each of us to KNOW God, FOLLOW God, DISCOVER our purpose, and MAKE A DIFFERENCE by helping others do the same.
Launched in 1994, Pearlside is now one church that meets in five locations. Our church exists to honor God by reaching the unreached, making disciples, training leaders, and establishing churches. We are a member of the Every Nation family of churches.
Prayer & Worship
We believe that the literal presence and power of God is manifested as these disciplines are expressed through individuals, small groups, and corporate settings on a regular ongoing basis.
We believe that Jesus’ Great Commission to go and make disciples of all nations is the responsibility of every believer. That mandate begins with reaching the unreached with the gospel of Jesus Christ through loving friendships, acts of compassion, and supernatural interventions. Each one reach one each year is thus a slogan widely heard in the Pearlside family.
Assimilation into small groups
We believe that people grow best when life is processed through the lens of biblical truth through meaningful small group relationships. Jesus showed us the way when he chose 12 disciples to change the world. We are, therefore, a church whose primary focus is to connect every person to a small group family which in turn reaches out to touch others.
We believe that just as believers are to reproduce new believers, churches are to reproduce other churches. Pearlside is therefore committed to planting new churches locally, nationally, and globally. Our goal is not just to add, but to multiply.
We feel a strong call to respond to Jesus’ burden when he said, “The harvest is plenteous, but the laborers are few.” Therefore, Pearlside is committed to training leaders who, in turn, can raise up other leaders, whether it is for fulltime ministry or the secular marketplace.
Sending out leaders and workers
We believe that in order to reach the world, it is our sending capacity and not just our seating capacity that will make the difference. Pearlside is, therefore, committed to sending people to the nations of the earth in uncompromising obedience to the Great Commission to serve in both short and long term missions.
